  • Our pioneer positive deviance approach identifies locally-embedded climate smart solutions – in this case on dairy cow feeding practices – led and scaled by "adaptation pioneer households".
  • Adaptation pioneer households“ (APHs) exchange practical knowledge with other farmers, private sector, extension agents and other stakeholders in farmer field days to improve and scale practices through farmer-led knowledge networks.
  • Gender-responsive planning with women and men in APHs to increase their capacities to learn, lead, and scale locally led adaptation.
