Objectives:

1. To assess burden of rabies in Ethiopia in humans, domestic animals and wildlife based on previous studies

2. To identify geographical regions where rabies research has been conducted scarcely

3. To identify gaps, including methodologies employed, in previous studies

4. To help shape researchers’ focus in the future to avoid redundancy in rabies research in Ethiopia
