Objectives:

1. Determine prevalence rate of Bovine TB among cattle

2. Assess the possible risk factors associated with Bovine TB among cattle and their herders in the Adwal region of Somaliland

Outputs

1. An improved knowledge of the prevalence and risk factors of bovine Tuberculosis in both humans and cattle allowing for more informed decisions regarding disease control and prevention, and more targeted interventions, in turn helping to reduce the overall burden of bTB in Somaliland

2. A trained workforce in field epidemiology, surveillance and diagnostics
