Objectives:

1. To explore knowledge, attitudes and perceptions involved in human response to the COVID-19 pandemic

2. To determine how knowledge, attitudes and perceptions influence the behaviour and practices of mass mask wearing in individuals across different socio-economic strata

3. To conduct a pilot study to determine presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus on masks and optimize laboratory protocols for detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus from masks of infected individuals.

4. To validate the field-to-laboratory protocols and test their utility for noninvasive community surveillance of SARS-CoV-2
